We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated estimates.

CalPal is designed to help estimate macronutrient values and is not intended to provide precise nutritional calculations. We are not responsible for any inaccurate calculations or estimates provided by the Service. Various factors, including but not limited to ingredient variations, portion size interpretations, and limitations in our reference databases, can affect calculation accuracy. Users should use the calculated values as general guidance only and should verify important nutritional information from authoritative sources, especially for medical or health-critical decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

CalPal is provided by Ampersand Research, Co, which is the legal entity responsible for the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that any legal claims or actions arising from your use of the Service must be brought solely against Ampersand Research, Co as the legal entity, and not against any individual developers, employees, contractors, or representatives in their personal capacity. You expressly waive any right to pursue personal liability against individuals associated with CalPal, and agree that any recovery shall be limited to the assets owned by Ampersand Research, Co.
